Hello, neighbor, Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, we're looking together today at our BAKBox 2 Collapsible Truck Bed Toolbox for the Roll-X and BAKFlip Tonneau Covers. Now folks, this is a custom fit application. Make sure you're checking our fit guide here at etrailer.com, top center of our homepage where it says my vehicle information, anything such as year, make and model, bed length, cab style, any kinda other questions that ask you to be sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now when this is installed, it should look something pretty much like this so you can see the space under the box there in the bed. Keep in mind the tonneau cover is not included.

And then if you had some gear in it, you could put some garden hoses, air hoses, gloves, maybe a small floor jack, maybe some tools and that kind of stuff, some heavy chain, log chain, those kind of things. It does work with, again, the BAK Roll-X and BAKFlip Tonneau Covers, and it's gonna create a custom toolbox for the truck bed. Now this toolbox will be out of sight and the contents will be protected, once the tonneau cover is closed and your tailgate is locked. Now it is a collapsible box and can be folded up for full use of the truck bed. Now I've got a mocked up here just with a couple bolts, so bear with me.

Let's hope that doesn't fall apart on us. You simply undo the hooking loop on both sides. Keep in mind these brackets would be mounted to the side rails and then you could simply fold this flat whenever you're not in use and then you have full length use of the bed. See what I said I don't wanna fall apart. So we're gonna go ahead and put that back up there.

And again, keep in mind you're gonna have all these sides bolted to the brackets that come with it and to the bed rail itself, so you don't have to worry about anything collapsing on you and falling off or anything. Again, I just have this mocked up. So again, the brackets all come with it, plus the mounting hardware. The whole unit itself is made of a nice 1/2" thick fiberglass reinforced polymer panel and it has a nice black powder coat finish over it with a hair cell texture. So as you can see, but it's got a little texture.

The end caps and everything that's metal is actual aluminum and it has been black powder coated as well. Again, give you a nice little sliding tray here to store smaller items. It's made of a heavy duty thick plastic and it's got a nice little depth to it and it's got molded into the plastic, it's got centimeters I believe, and inches in case you need to do some measurement on the fly. Now this whole thing is corrosion and UV resistant. It's made here in the US and it's a super simple, easy no drill installation. Again, it simply clamps onto the tonneau frame rails with the included hardware. Now, as far as some dimensions, if I go from inside to inside, I get roughly 10 inches. And if I do a depth inside depth, I got about 7-1/2" deep and that's on both sides obviously. And for an overall length. Now I was trying to measure pretty much inside and I was getting right at 52-1/2" long. Now if you count these brackets, it could go about 54 inches and you could also potentially slide both end caps out between one or two inches. So you know, if we got two inches per side, that's gonna put us roughly close to 60 inches. So it's gonna be close to 60 inches. I believe that's how the manufacturer states it is, that it's 60 inches long. I got nowhere near that, I got 52-1/2" as I just showed you on the inside. But again, keep in mind you could potentially slide these out on the backside here. These brackets have slots in 'em and you could potentially slide that out and make it a little bit longer. The whole thing can carry a capacity of 400 pounds, which is pretty impressive for its little size. Again, folks, this is the BAKBox 2 Collapsible Truck Bed Toolbox.
